Ski Touring Equipment
What to Bring?
Essential equipment to bring for your ski touring holiday in Norway!
Ski touring in Norway is a completely unique experience for most people. The opportunity to ski from the mountaintops with a view out to sea is something many people want to experience.
But there are also other things you have to think about which may be a little different than, for example, in the Alps.
You are above the Arctic Circle and on the coast. This means that conditions can change quickly either for the better or for the worse. We must therefore be prepared with the right equipment and good clothes on the tour.
Creating a list that covers all types of trips is impossible. What you need to take with you varies with the seasons, area and duration of the tour. Personal preferences vary from person to person. Some people enjoy carrying heavy things, while for others it is important that the backpack is as light as possible.
Here you will find a list of what we have experienced that will be useful for your ski holiday in Northern Norway.
